Harden's survey result
Summary
“Always reliable for tasty and reasonably priced French food”, this handy venue is one of twenty remaining branches of a national chain launched 29 years ago (six more closed down in 2020).
For 35 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Bistrot Pierre Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Good bistro standard with helpful staff, 5 minutes from train station in hotel building. Chain roots show in decor and ambience. Bavette with Frites was on point, served pink with grill char. Perigueux sauce had good truffle flavour. Difficult to fault at the price. Chocolate mousse also decent, all washed down with a reasonable Rhône red. Good value at 35pp before service. Sunday lunch and prix fixe menu also looked worthwhile but we didn’t have time to explore."
