Harden's survey result
Summary
“Superb… and it’s all in the dough”. This chic, small (32 seats) two-year-old pizzeria in fashionable Seymour Place elicits nothing but all-round praise from an extremely loyal fan club and is “such a lovely and warm place to enjoy a meal”. It’s the work of experienced Argentinian restaurateur, Diego Jacquet, who runs Zoilo nearby. Forty eight hour fermentation leaves the aforementioned dough crispy and light and dips such as garlic mayo or salsa verde help mop up any stray crusts.
Summary
This newbie pizzeria in Seymour Place from Argentinian chef Diego Jacquet of nearby Zoilo attracted “quite a bit of hype” at its November 2023 launch. Its biggest fans say it’s superb, and nobody rates it worse than good all-round. Apparently “it’s all in the dough”, fermented for 24 hours from an original blend of flours.
For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
