San Pietro is a beautiful fine dining restaurant and boutique hotel set in a grade two listed windmill, with its onion-shaped ogee and ball finial, in the heart of North Lincolnshire. For more than 20 years, San Pietro has brought Greater Lincolnshire and the surrounding boroughs an irreplicable authenticity derived straight from the foothills of Sicily. Diners can expect a foodie experience that is modern and innovative, while still reflecting the traditional tastes, influences and classic ingredients of the Mediterranean. The chef
At San Pietro, our 2 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant uses the Sicilian heritage of our chef director Piero as the inspiration for our menus.
Staying true to his Sicilian roots and a passion for artisanal produce that has been passed down through myriad generations, Piero and his accomplished chefs working the San Pietro pass, focus on quality and authenticity in the kitchen.
Harking back to a childhood spent in the sunshine, surrounded by olive groves, Piero takes inspiration from the meals he enjoyed with family, in his hometown of Villalba. No stranger to a Michelin star, having cheffed under Giorgio Locatelli during his career, Piero has worked alongside some of the most highly regarded chefs in Italy and Sicily over the years – a time that has delivered countless opportunities to learn and grow.
Piero's passion for cooking comes from generations of his family and his mother, where his home was always full of fresh produce and the finest ingredients.
From an intimate dinner for two to a party for one hundred, our artistic kitchen team combined with knowledgeable and attentive front of house staff creates a truly unique dining experience that you will be talking about for years to come!
