“A family-run Italian restaurant opposite Tewkesbury Abbey” offering “traditional” fare from a “fairly limited lunchtime menu” (mainly focaccia and pasta), with a more elaborate offering of pizza, mains and antipasti by night. There was the odd quibble this year with portion sizes, but even cynics admitted that their homemade desserts attracted absolutely “no complaints”. It’s a “very friendly, buzzy place, where you need to book at peak periods”, and where the “covered outdoor area at the back is very pleasant in the summer”.
